Download
the set of scripts to
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name
here>\.gimp-1.2\scripts
. Extract the contents to that directory, and delete the LineDesigns.zip
Inform GIMP of the new scripts
Select Menu:
Xtns > Script-fu > Refresh
Show the Brushes dialog
Select Menu:
Dialogs > Brushes
(or Control-Shift-B on your keyboard)
Pick a small brush
For each design:
Select the color to use
Create a path with three points
Click on the Paths tab on the Layers, Channels & Paths dialog window
Click on the New Path button
Click three points in your image
Execute script
Select Menu: Script-fu > Render> Line design....
The script with no number at the end allows you to pick the number of lines drawn
The scripts with numbers at the end are shortcuts to draw the specified number of lines
Optional: delete path (it's no longer needed unless you want to keep some of the points for the next design)
