Play Lists
Managing the lists
The uppper area of the screen shows existing play lists. Selecting a list will display the clips for that list in the box below.
- To add a new list, click "New" and enter the name of the play list.
- To edit the list name, click "Edit" and adjust the name.
- To duplicate the list, click "Duplicate" and enter a name.
- To delete the list, click "Del" and confirm you want to delte it.
Once the list is selected
- Clicking on the Play button will play the selected clip. Double-clicking on the clip also plays it. Hitting the enter key also plays it.
- Holding the Control key down and then clicking on the Play button will also play the selected clip.
- The difference between the two styles is selectable by the user. Use the "Program/General Preferences" menu to change what happens.
To add clips to your play list
- Search for a clip (click the search area in the screen shot above for more information).
- Click the "Add" button. The clip will be added below the currently selected clip in your play list, if one is selected.
To move the clip to a different location in the list
- To move the clip closer to the top of the list, click the Up button. If you like keyboard shortcuts, you can use control-shift U at any time.
- To move the clip closer to the bottom of the list, click the Down button. You can also use control-shift D at any time.
To delete the clip, click the Delete button. If you like keyboard shortcuts, you can use control-shift E at any time.
To make the clip play straight thru to the next clip without pausing between, click the "Keep with Next" button. If you like keyboard shortcuts, you can use control-shift K at any time. A little mark will show up after the name to indicate it will play thru.
